A large amount of patients on low doses of alcohol can be admitted to Domus Retreat where our medical staff can medically control mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms, but a small percentage experiences severe withdrawal symptoms through out detox and are admitted for the first 2 to 4 days to a full service hospital under the care of our medical professionals for safety and physical stabilization through the detox period before returning to Domus Retreat.
